Among other things, I suppose I am an artist. Self taught, I have been drawing, doodling, painting, sculpting and generally leaving my mark on the world for as long as I can remember, and before.

I love animals, they are my inspiration for every piece I do, realistic or not. Nature comes up with beautiful things, all by herself, and I love reproducing that beauty, and so strive to make my pieces as lifelike as possible.

That being said, I also love colour– lots and lots and lots of colour. While I may produce artwork that is in general very dark, it is because I want the vibrancy of the colours I create it with to be forefront, so that people can see that although something may be dark, there is always something bright that can emerge from it.

I also love fairytales, myths, legends, and in general all sorts of lore. I am not a huge fan of science fiction, but fantasy based on the stories that have come up over the ages is something that truly interests me, and drives my art away from reality.

I am a student, currently completing my Bachelor of Arts, as well as a 1st dan blackbelt in taekwondo. I and my family have lots and lots of animals-- 2 cats, 2 cows, 4 horses, 5 dogs, and currently 22 alpacas (of which I myself own 4). Our location is also in the middle of a wildlife corridor, so there is an abundance of wildlife always nearby. We sport an often large herd of deer, several moose, a pack of wolves and coyotes, a black bear and sometimes the odd cougar or lynx.
