BucketHead by sandeyes13 BucketHead by sandeyes13
Someone must have left our pellet bucket in the pen overnight, and Athena figgered she'd help herself to a midnight snack-- only, when she stuck her head into the bucket, the breath insta-froze the hairs of her topknot to the bucket, so when she lifted her head, the bucket followed. We found her this morning laying down, the others wouldn't go near the crazy bucket monster, so ~oosafu wandered over after she'd walked around a bit and we'd had our laugh, and saved the poor thing. *grin* It was quite amusing seeing her wander around trying to find the others, as she 'looked' around.

May potentially be scrapped soon.

... She's an alpaca. Something completely different from a goat. More like a smaller, friendlier version of a llama. :llama:

Well, yeah. Her registered name is AAC Athena, so for short, we use her call name Athena. All of our registered animals have names like that. We've got animals like VLA Hespera (Hes), VLA Oreithyia (Tulip), VLA Asteria (Asteria), AAC Prudence (Prudence), NMA Big Bang (Paz), VLA Atlas (Atlas), VLA Mescalaero (Mesc) and AAC Gold Krugerrand (Kruger). Since their animals that are shown for competition, its very similar to registered dogs-- you need to have an 'appropriate' name that has 'prescence' so your animal is noticed, that fits with its lineage, and often, those names are long and too much to use for day-to-day use. So you abbreviate them, or, in a few of their cases, like Athena, you drop the prefix, and just call them as is. When you have animals registered as stuff like "AAC Tank's-a-lot" or "Northern Mystey's Eos" its just easier to pick something shorter to call the animals by.

LOL silly thing! Even after getting herself stuck? Well... every herd has to have one, I suppose! It's still cute though!
