Grulla Pintaloosa QH Foal

Another airbrushed, Blue Box Blue Ribbon model (this time the QH foal). I based this ones design off of this pretty little foal [link]

First went on a layer of white acrylic, then tape to mask it off, then all the other layers of acrylic, until I had it at the right shade. Then I went over and added all the speckles, and the tail.

Its a shame you don't find many Blue Box models anymore-- I had two family sets from when I was just little little, and have since gone on to paint both the mares, Qh foals and one of the arabian foals-- The Qh stallions are disgusting though, their faces are beyond twisted and crooked, so if I ever paint them, they will need a major rebuild to make them unugly.
For the most part, beyond having to dremel out the nostrils because they were literally slits, their very nicely build IMO.
