The White Desert

^{Green eyes flashed, bright, despite their panic. They flew up, only to slowly lower, tracking each miniscule spot of white fluff with a feline air. Their slow descent ended, as the white fluff landed, with the rest, on the slowly whitening ground. Rounded brown ears tuliped forward, blue tips a conspicuous contrast against the red brown of the mares shaggy coat, as she stared at the ground. Eyes narrowed as she wrinkled her velvet nose, snorting a puff of foggy air; it drifted up against her fur, cold. Teeth now bared, the war mare couldn't help but shake her head savagely, dispersing those white fluffs which had settled softly against her fur. What was this stuff? It was cold, unwelcoming... This mare of the desert was disconcerted. Where was the sun, beneath that grey sky? She couldn't find it, not through that thick, depressing cloud cover. Where was she? Another snort, before the mare seemingly decided to continue forward. If she walked long enough, she'd come to that warm, welcoming desert again, she was sure. But, she soon found that her usually sand cushioned hooves found no welcome amongst the cold crunch of the fresh snow. Oh how she disliked that feel! An annoyed toss of her head, and she was soon bounding through the snow, trying best as she could to not touch it. Oh, it would be a long journey.}</sup>

The Unjournalized image I made. Somehow, Skatty ended up in the mountains,(well, I guess tundra, because thats considered a desert,lol) with celt looking at her from her forest. I don't think Skatty enjoys being cold, or having snow on her feet. So, because it is typical deep, semi-canadian snow, she is jumping through it, to avoid any and all contact with it.XD

I admit it, I went overboard with the snow. I love making snowflakes, and snow backgrounds, and snow horses.XD I even went so far as to give Skatty a full winter coat, shading it and the like. Detail images will be coming ASAP. I will be including ones with and without snow, so everyone can see her fur, lol.
